2003 PRE Bay mare
This filly came to Jay Stables after a two year search for a show and broodmare prospect. She was so stunning in the video I called immediately and was ecstatic when I found out she was still available. She arrived from Florida two weeks later to a climate shock; Chicago in November. We showed her in hand as a two year old and happily accepted many blue ribbons. Cabella is handled in the ring by Mario Contreras.
As a three year old we started her under saddle and let her grow up. She has a people orientated disposition and has grown into a lovely mare. She was presented and passed Revision in the fall of 2006.

Saltadora was purchased in 2005 for a client, but my husband, John fell in love with her and she became part of our herd. She is currently in training for Low Jumpers with Dr Jessica Tartoff DVM. She has definitely lived up to her name - (saltadora means" jumper" in Spanish.) This sweet and sensitive mare is a powerful mover with awesome extensions.

Our Matriarch
Diva was purchased from GG Andalusians in Okemos, MI in 1993. Diva was shown in halter in 1994-1995 with many championships and blue ribbons to her name. In 1995 was started in dressage and quickly became a success. In 1996 Diva placed second in the nation at training level with a median score of 66.8%. Diva progressed in her training over the next few years eventually performing PSG. She now has become the ambassador of the breed, bringing many new owners to the andalusian world. Occasionally resurfacing in the arena as a doma vaquera mount or a jumping phenom. In addition to her show career, Diva has influenced the lives all of the equines in her realm. She is the undisputed herd leader and has played the aunt role to many newly weaned babies. All are protected and taught the pecking order in the field. Diva has never produced a foal of her own, so we enjoy her presence every day.

2001 Bay Pure Spanish Mare
This friendly filly was first introduced to me by her breeder, Gillian Craig, at her farm in 2002. Mia's personality and kind eye made me accept the offer to purchase her. She arrived at the farm and was immediately integrated to the herd, becoming Diva's best friend. She was the easiest horse to train to ride and has been the favorite mount for many of my boarders. In 2006 she became our first purebred broodmare, by producing JS Chanel. She is a great mother and we hope to have many more foals out of this lovely mare.
